**See below what other supporting documents are applicable to you based on how you are claiming your eligibility. **

Proof of Age Requirement. 

-Delegate must provide proof of age in ONE of the following forms-

Delegate’s Certified Birth Certificate

Delegate’s Valid Driver’s License 

Delegate’s Valid Driver’s Learner Permit 

Delegate’s Valid State Identification 

Delegate’s Passport

Miss Delegates must choose one residency eligibility:
(Bona Fide Residency, Education, or Employment) and provide supporting documentation.

If claiming Bona Fide Residency

For Miss Delegates: 

must be a legal resident of Illinois by the first at least one hundred and twenty days (120) prior to competing in Miss Capital City. (In this case, June 15th, 2024). Please provide ONE of the below as proof of  Bona Fide residency. 

Current voter registration card in Delegate’s name. 

Current lease in Delegate's name for housing in Illinois.

Current utility bill in Delegate’s name for address within Illinois. 

Current vehicle registration in Delegate’s name issued from Illinois. 

Federal student loan correspondence or notices on which the Delegate is named primary or secondary in Illinois. 

If Delegate is not a licensed driver, she will need to present two forms of proof of bona fide residency from the list immediately noted above

 

If Miss delegate seeks to establish Geographic Eligibility based on Residency, she must provide a copy of her current driver’s license issued in Illinois AND one of the above indicia of residency. 

 

Claiming Geographic Eligibility based on full-time employment:

Full time is defined as an average of no less than 40 hours per week for a single employer. 

-Delegate must obtain declaring such status in writing or provide copies of pay stubs, W-2 forms, income tax filing, or other relevant documentation to prove full time employment status.

 

Claiming Geographic Eligibility based on Education Status 

-Delegate must be enrolled as a full-time student status (as determined by the school) at an accredited college or university located within Illinois. 

-Delegate must provide proof of current full-time student status in the form of a copy of an official certified transcript or certification by the school registrar of enrollment.

**Online students default to Bona Fide Residency or Employment status**

For Teen Delegates:

Teen delegates will provide ONE of the following proof of residency below of the Teen delegate’s parent

Current voter registration card in Delegate’s name. 

Current lease in Delegate's name for housing in Illinois.

Current utility bill in Delegate’s name for address within Illinois. 

Current vehicle registration in Delegate’s name issued from Illinois. 

Federal student loan correspondence or notices on which the Delegate is named primary or secondary in Illinois. 

If Delegate’s parent is not a licensed driver, she will need to present two forms of proof of bona fide residency from the list immediately noted above
